"Lite
Art"
for any CelebrationOur Christmas lights and holiday decorations are made with the same miniature lights that you buy at your local store. We start by shaping the Christmas figurines from poultry netting then each light is carefully secured to the form with vinyl tubing and cable ties. The holiday displays' bases are made from northwestern heart redwood for long life and the molded form is supported from the weight of the lights with transverse struts. Light coloring is limited because of low individual lamp wattage which is why we select colors based on contrast, brightness, and the overall Christmas display's visual affect. George's Christmas light displays are best observed from more than 15 feet, and can be seen from more than a mile away given a clear line of sight. All holiday light displays are supplied with a convenient storage and shipping crate that integrates with the base of the holiday figurine. You won't need a fork lift to move them around because Lite Art has very little mass, (larger figurines can be about 60 pounds crated) one of the benefits from using light materials. Another advantage of their low mass is the ability to withstand inclement weather such as high winds, rain, and snow. Leave LiteArt "on" when it is snowing to avoid burial, the heat from the lights will keep the snow from burying your display. Christmas Lights Galore

This photo says it all, I ran to the store to buy film twice the day I took this picture. Here you can see some of the mechanics required to build an attention getting display, this one takes about 7 full days to put up, and sports about 25,000 lights. The primary reason that I built such a tall tree was because we had very few visitors, then I realized how remote and hidden our house was, and the rest is history. It has been said that photographs do little justice to the awe and splendor of these holiday decorations. I have seen people spend up to thirty minutes just gazing and taking videos, then return the next night with their entire family and party or sing carols in front of the house. |
Wedding Photography ...by David Bernard We are sorry but catalogs are no longer available. George suggests that you print copies of these web pages. Prices start at $499.00 and are determined by the amount of lights and how many figurines you order. For example, a medium sized horse or reindeer would carry between 800 and 1,000 lights, we start at a dollar a light then discount each figurine by its efficiency attributes and number of pieces ordered at one time. |
Holiday "Lite Art" by GeorgeGeorge was putting up Christmas lights and decorations with his father when he was eight years old. Since then George has assembled awesome Christmas displays in every village he has lived. About ten years ago, combined with inspiration from the old "Disney Electric Light Parade" George began to build the three-dimensional light sculptures illustrated on these pages. Now he is offering his holiday and Christmas light displays to the public for the first time. |
