Founder George McKinnon has been taking still and moving pictures of newlyweds, models, family and animated sequences since the late 1960s. In high school George produced a series of acted and animated movies using super 8mm movie cameras.

In the early seventies George introduced one day photofinishing throughout Orange County California from his photofinishing laboratory and photography studios in Tustin and featured this new and rare service at his own stores called "Short Stop Photo".

Since the sale of his stores in the late seventies George has worked on developing his skills as a digital graphic artist and computer scientist.
